slaveSkel.mel image
Script will slave two skeletons together. The duplicate will be driven by the original. Has a few uses: could have different size characters be driven by a bigger one. Using the offsets will allow this function. Also have a control rig drive a bound skeleton. |
resetBindPose.mel
Will allow you to add joints to a bound character that has been already rigged. Ever tried to add an influence and you get an error that says you need to go back to bindPose? This will help. Select geo and run script. |
cleanCopy.mel
This will give you a clean skinned geo from the original. Say you needed to add geometry or make adjustments to the mesh and it adds more inputs, this will delete all that and give you a clean skinned mesh.
Select geo and run script.NOTE: It will delete your blendshapes. |
oriJointTool.mel image
This tool is a much more interactive way to orient your joints. You select your root joint and click Orient Joint. Arrows are placed at each joint. Each joint has an attribute called "Rotate Arrow". You use this to place the arrow you want your Z+ axis to rotate. Once you are done, select the root joint and click "Redraw Joint". |
selJointType.mel image
This assumes that you have prefixed your skeleton(Ex. jo_spine1). This will go through an entire hiearchy and grab just the joints with that prefix and give you the option to make a selection set. Really handy if you have specific joints that you want to bind to. |
snWorldSpaceTool.mel image
